When the planets give results

Sathvik planets give good results when they remain pure and unalloyed, in Sathvik nature. The same applies to Rajasic and Thamasic planets.

It is not very harmful if the Sathvik and rajasic planets get Rajasic and Sathvik natures repectively; but they should never acquire Thamasic nature.

And, the Thamasic planets should never get Rajasic nature if they are to give satisfactory results. Extremely bad results occur if the Thamasic planets get Rajasic nature.

Rajasa: Sun, Moon, Venus

Satwik: Mercury, Jupiter

Thamasa: Mars, Saturn, Rahu, Ketu

Example:

Suppose the Lagna is Libra.

Lord of the second house is Mars, who is in krithika, Sun's constellation and hence a Rajasa. 

Mercury, the karaka of speech is in Scorpio and in Jyestha. Thus he is Satwik in nature. 

Satwik nature of Mercury in second house and the Rajasic nature of Mars Lord of the second house respectively are the cause for the eloquence and prominence of the native.
