10th House - BUSINESS

 When the Lord of the House under reference is in combination with the Lords of other Houses, avocation of the native will be one pertaining to the powerful planet of the combination.

The strongest planet which is the Lord of 10th House or which occupies the 10th House or which aspects the 10th House, is responsible for the profession of the native. As in the case of other Houses, the weakness or strength of this planet should be judged in predicting the results concerning "Jupiter" or profession of native.

When the Lord of Jupiter associates with the Lord of 4th House the native may be having an occupation connected with education ,trade etc.

The Lord of the constellations in which the planet of Jupiter situates will indicate the native of occupations or avocations of the native as below

(A) (i) If it is Sun's constellations, the profession will be connected with medicine,gold, gems etc. The native may also live through paternal property.Government service etc.

(ii)If the Lord is Moon, calling of native will be connected with agriculture, maternal, property, dealing in liquid substance and white articles etc.

(iii) If the Lord is Mars, the living of the native will be through agriculture,landed property, brother's wealth,police, military,workshops machinery etc.

(iv)If the Lord is Mercury, the profession of the native will be connected with music, religious matters paintings,drawings, sculptures, astrology, mathematics, engineering etc.

(v) If the lord of Jupiter, the native will be in government service, postal and judicial departments, bank treasures, educational departments. He may also be a priest or a preacher.

(vi) If the Venus, the native will trade in house cattle fruits,flowers,scents fancy goods etc. He may also be a layer or keeper of restaurants.

(vii)If this planet is Saturn, the native earns through hard labor. He may also deal in oils etc.

(B) Treat Rahu as Saturn, and Kethu as Mars.

Karma House- Illustrations.

    A native born in Scorpio Lagna.

Here the Lord of 10th House, Sun is in Punarvasu-Guru's constellation, who is a Yoga Karaka. This native house from an ordinary position to an officer of high rank.

     A native born in Pisces Lagna.

10th House from Lagna for profession etc. Lord of 10th House Jupiter is in 10th House itself. The native is troubled about his living.

Reason- Lord of 10th House Jupiter is in Purvashada Sukra's constelltion.

   Another Pisces Lagna native.

Lord of 10 Jupiter is in Pubba.Sukra's constellation. As Venus is the Lord of 3 and 8 the native had to leave the job after 15 years of service

In the first example the native experienced  difficulties for his livlihood and in the second he had to leave the service. 

These effects are due to the influence of the  Lord of 8th House. Whenever such connections exist the Karma House is affected.

  A Virgo Lagna native.

Lord of the 10th House Mercury is in Virgo -Lagna Kendra and exalted. Yet the native has had no progress in his official career and is drawing a poor salary.

The progress in profession is particularly in Mercury Dasa, as he is in Moon's constellation Hastha. Moon occupying the 6th House from Lagna is weak . This has weakends Mercury the Lord of the 10 th House though exalted, has become weak for he is situated in HASTHA , hence his exalation becomes ineffective. The combination of the Lord of the 10th and 11th House also mars the good effects .Here Moon being the Jeeva controls the 10th House also. Thus we see that  Moon has combined in himself the effects of the 10th and 11th House.
