If Sun is in his own constellation, he does not produce much good to the native but results will not be as bad as in Saturn's or Rahu's constellations.

In Moon's Constellation:- Being the constellations of a friend, Ravi here gives good results as, honors from government and kings, birth of children, success in attempts etc. and makes him well-known.

In Mars's Constellations :- The position of Sun is not good to the native who will suffer from ill-health, lose his peace of mind and will involve himself in quarrels and ligations. Deaths may also occur in the family or in the circle of friends.

In Mercury's constellations:-The results are similar to those as in Jupiter Constellations. Besides, if Mercury is a benefic planet in the native's chart, he makes the native very prominent in learning, and prosperity in trade is very much increased.

In Jupiter's Constellation:- The native will be helped to secure success in official career, will have children and happiness in the family, prospers in trade and acquires wealth therefrom.

In Venus's Constellations:-In the beginning the native is made to suffer to some extent, and then some good results will be yielded, even which will not be satisfactory to the native. The native incurs the resentment of  ladies. If the influence of 6th or 8th or 12 houses combines. There is a possibility of danger through water to the native.

In Saturn's or Rahu 's Constellation:- Sun is not fit to give good results to the native. The native experiences enmity, loss of wealth, obstructions for progress in life unnecessary fears and sorrows etc.

In Kethu's Constellations:- Sudden and unexpected deaths will occur in the family and the native will be made to wander aimlessly. Sometimes he may undertake pilgrimages.

Generally if Sun is well dispossed to the native and a benefic of Lagna situated in a powerful house the produces good results. It must be noted that the Lord of the constellation in which Sun is should also be benefic and powerful planet to give very good results.
